  • Why do we want your canola so badly? Well, when you run the largest canola crushing plant in the World, you tend to go through A LOT of canola.

Cargill initially invested in a canola crush plant at Clavet, Saskatchewan in the mid-1990’s. First load of canola was unloaded on May 16, 1996. Recently an additional $100 million was invested to double the size of the pre-existing facility.

Our Clavet, Saskatchewan plant is truly a state-of-the-art facility that:

    • Processes more than 4000 tonnes of canola per day
    • Employs approximately 100 hardworking Saskatchewanians
    • Unloads more than 800 Super B’s per week
